*Saint Louis University Good Neighbor Initiative VISTA - FT

The Saint Louis University Good Neighbor Initiative will develop a partnership and advising model for three student-led programs, Campus Kitchen, Billiken Bounty, and Billiken 2 Billiken. The Good Neighbor Initiative VISTA will advise each organization, coordinate food and supplies distribution between organizations, and find ways for organizations to work together. This project supports individuals who are food insecure; specifically, individuals who live independently in homes across the street from SLU’s campus, as well as those who live in nearby emergency shelters and transitional housing. For each of the SLU organizations, the VISTA will ensure that systems for recruitment, training, and scheduling student volunteers are effective.
